It’s official! The 2026 HSAS Convention wrapped up this afternoon following an engaging two days of speakers, LR updates, and the Annual General Meeting.
This year’s theme was Facing the Future, moving forward together with the goal of strengthening an already united membership.
This year Carla Beck, the leader of the Official Opposition joined us to speak to the membership about the ongoing issues facing healthcare, with a special focus on recruitment and retention and expanding access to primary care.
Our Labour Relations Update and Members’ Forum was full of thoughtful questions and engaging discussions.
A big announcement was made that Convention 2027 will be a one day virtual event!
