2026 HSAS Annual Convention

The 2026 HSAS Annual Convention will take place on October 22 & 23, 2026 in Saskatoon at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel. This year’s theme is “Facing The Future.” Over the two days of Convention, guests and delegates will take part in the Union’s Annual General Meeting as well as hear about a variety of topics from our keynote speakers. The Reality Is: Saskatchewan Needs More Midwives

The Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan launched a campaign on May 1st advocating for more midwives in Saskatchewan. “Midwives provide important care in our province and right now there are not enough midwives to meet the needs of the people of Saskatchewan.” HSAS President, Karen Schmid explains.
